King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls is a selective grammar school and one of the schools of the King Edward VI Academy Trust Birmingham.

Admission to KEVI Camp Hill School for Girls is usually at two entry key points: Year 7 for Main School and Year 12 for Sixth Form. However, there may be opportunities for in-year admissions should places become available in Years 7, 8, 9 or 10.
The Sixth Form is the driving force of the whole school community through its House system.

The charity, The Schools of King Edward VI in Birmingham, is involved in education at fourteen schools across the City. We are able to assist our two independent schools, grammar schools and multi-ability schools via the management of historic land assets which were passed on to us from as long ago as 1552.

We are delighted to announce that King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls has been awarded The Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year 2025. We have also won The Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year for the West Midlands for Academic Excellence 2025. We’re humbled and very proud to have been awarded these accolades, which belong to our entire school community.
